See this is the thing, I love reading blogs, running blogs, food blogs, style blogs (the list does go on), but not maintaining my own blog means that feel a little bit like a creeper. I want to be one of the cool kids! So, this is probably the third blog that I have started, but hey third time’s the charm, right?

I had a hard time figuring out what kind of blog I wanted to create, I do love my food bloggies (Sup Snackface?,  Sup PB&J?), so that was an option. But running is my thang and I think this is a good outlet for me to ramble on about running and hold me accountable for running consistently. I might still post some meals and such on occasion, but only if they are super awesome.

I should probably give some of the requisite introductory materials. Well my name is Julie and I’m a twenty-something runner. I first started running the summer before I started high school, and I have been running ever since. Well, pretty much ever since, I have had a few set backs and I hardly ran at all during grad school. I do post my training on the Daily Mile so you can check that if you want and be my friend!

I am currently training for a spring marathon – in particular, the Wisconsin Marathon in Kenosha on May 1st. I’m about 12/13 weeks out and pretty much making my training up as I go along, which is not the smartest thing I’ve ever done, but unfortunately, probably not the dumbest either. I would like to attempt a sub-4, so around a 9:00 min per mile average would be most excellent.

So here is my blog, I plan to post daily-ish updates and hopefully no one will be so bored that they start throwing rocks in my general direction.
